Royltop, as a professional supplier of spice packaging bottles, offers a wide range of plastic or glass spice bottles. Usually the shaker caps of spice bottles don't have sealing performance, in order to ensure the dryness of the spices, a sealing gasket needs to be placed at the mouth of the bottle. There are two kinds of gaskets: pressure sensitive gaskets and aluminum foil gaskets, and many customers find it difficult to choose between them, so today I will tell you the difference between the two.
1. Pressure sensitive gasket is the most widely used bottle mouth sealing material. Because it is a pressure sealing material, easy to handle and inexpensive, it is more commonly used to seal flavor bottles. Pressure-sensitive type consists of PS foam gasket coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive, generally called "pressure-sensitive gasket". It is a single-layer, single-piece type, without aluminum foil, and relies on the pressure on the cap to achieve the sealing effect at room temperature. Suitable for plastic bottles, glass bottles, metal bottles, the best sealing effect when the bottle is solid or dry spices.
2. Aluminum foil gasket is composed of cardboard, aluminum foil, adhesive, sealing film and so on, for multi-layer single-piece type, using electromagnetic induction sealing machine through the way of heating, to reach the sealing effect. Through the electromagnetic induction sealing machine instantly generates high heat, after the gasket is heated, the cardboard is separated from the aluminum foil, and the sealing layer of the aluminum foil is bonded with the mouth of the bottle, so as to achieve the sealing effect of moisture-proof and leakage-proof.
The operation of the induction sealing machine will directly affect the sealing effect of the aluminum foil gasket, and different parameters need to be adjusted according to the different sizes of the aluminum foil gasket to achieve the best sealing effect. Usually the power of the sealing machine, the voltage, the distance between the sealing machine and the mouth of the bottle, and the speed of the conveyor will affect the sealing effect.
